Here's the ref I promised you guys!

I'm not sure what to name her, so I'm calling on you guys for help! This girl is a Hawk +Anima. (What's a +Anima? What's the OC for? Clicky clicky--->[link])

I'd like some original, unique names. For example, the four original characters from the +Anima series are named Cooro, Husky, Nana, and Senri. So please suggest creative names, because I'm probably not going to name her Suzy (no offense to the Suzy's of the world! ^^;)

So, character description (don't want to spoil too much but):

:bulletpurple:She's pretty tough, and isn't overly friendly to strangers. In fact, she has a hard time trusting people in general.

:bulletred:She doesn't have any parents anymore.

:bulletpurple:She grew up in the mountains, in a mining community.

:bulletred:Her +Anima mark (sort of like a birthmark for +Anima people) resembles a hawk's wings, I guess. But feel free to suggest something else. The mark would be on her back, between her shoulder blades, or if I come up with a new mark, on her shoulder. Here's some +Anima marks for you to get an idea: [link]

This is really a beta-tester sort of thing. I'd love your guys feedback, because ultimately, it's you guys who are reading it, so I think you should have some input.

So, things I'd love your comments and suggestions on:

:ibulletpurple: This OC's name!
:bulletred: Costume design!--This OC's design, Boy's clothes, girl's clothes...for all sorts of characters! (because I'm no fashion designer. :) ) This is sort of the time period's style:[link]

:bulletpurple: Places for the characters to travel to! (Like a desert, or a forest, or on a mountain...)
:bulletred: +Anima you'd like to see appear in the manga! (Like a Shark +Anima or something! Just please don't suggest Cooro, Nana, Husky, Senri, or any other character that's appeared in the original books...OC's please!)
:bulletpurple: Any other plot advancements!
:bulletred: ANYTHING ELSE YOU CAN THINK OF! I want to have lots of variety and be very open-minded to all of your suggestions! Please don't take it personally if I don't want to use your idea, but don't hold back from asking!

Hmm... If I'm to draw her... What abilities does she have (if any)
I think I might want to incorporate them into the drawing.

Well, she can fly (duh XD) and her wings are completely retractable. I haven't really decided on any weapons for her.

I the story, she is the "protector" character (looks out for the others.)Therefore, she is almost passive-aggressive.

Did this help in the slightest bit? What sort of abilities are you looking for?

No, not really...

I was thinking about throwing the elements into the story, but what I'm really trying to avoid is having it turn into a "magical girl" type genre, so giving them magical powers wouldn't go over so well...

Are you still looking for a name? I was thinking Taka ^^ and, you've seen my +Anima OC, you can use her in your manga if you like, just make sure to give me credit! :P ^^

That's a great name, Taka! Another one I was thinking of was Calyx (from Pocket Fogs lol!) What do you think?

And you know what's really cool? My friend (who's also my "editor" :) ) said that I should put a shark +Anima in the manga. And then, when I'm looking for some +Anima clothing refs, your OC popped up! I'd really like to use it, if that's okay. :) (I'll be sure to give credit!)

Calyx is a great name too! :D (no one has to know it's from pocket frogs :P hahaha!)

and thats an awesome coincidence xD, there's a reference-type picture of my OC too, with bits about her personality and stuff, if you want to look at it ^^ No worries, I'm glad to help ^^

I think I'm gonna call her Calyx, with her middle name being Jane...(after much pushing from my editor...:iconorzplz:)

And yes, the ref sheet was very helpful! ^^
